1950s Inspired Makeup Look


       Hellooooooooo!!! its been ages!!! I'm finally back by the Grace of God,my laptop died completely and using an Android phone to put up new posts on my blog was so expensive. So i decided to be patient to get a new laptop and it has paid off. *dancing*
    My first post for the year will be a picture tutorial based on the 1950s era,a Pin Up makeup look. its one of my favourite looks , Its a beautiful look that complements the facial structure,focusing on the brows,eyelids,lips with a pop of colour etc. Highly arched brows, fleshy toned eyelids, winged eyeliner,full flirty eyelashes, beige or nude shade on the waterline and lets not forget bright red or pink lips are some of the compulsory features of a pin up look.
       So lets begin..........

BROWS;
I used Hegai and Esther brow pomade in Nubia to fill her brows,
L.A girl concealer in Toffee to set her brows.




Urban Decay Eye shadow primer potion Original (Eyelid,crease)
Nyx white eye shadow base (eyelid)
Cover-girl Queen bronze Ebony (Crease)
Dark Brown from Wet and wild Vanity Palette (contour)
 Booty call from Urban Decay Naked palette 2 (brow bone)
Colour pop Super shock shadow in Lala (eyelid)
L.A girl Gel eyeliner in Black (lash line)
Red cherry lashes No 43.




                                  Mocha e/s from Lorac Pro Palette 2 (inner corner)
                                  Nyx wonder pencil in medium (waterline)
                                  Nyx white eye shadow base (under the eye area)
                                  Dark Brown from Wet and wild Vanity Palette (under the eye area)
                                  Nyx Skinny mascara and Maybelline mascara (lashes)



                               Revlon Colourstay foundation in Cappucino (full face)
                          L.A girl concealer in toffee and chestnut to highlight under her eye area and T-zone.
                          L.A girl concealer in Dark Cocoa to contour her cheeks,side of the bridge of her                                 nose,around her temple.
                          Ben Nye luxury powder in Sienna and Neutral set to highlight under the eye area                               and T-zone.
                          Ben Nye luxury powder in Ebony to contour the cheeks,side of the bridge of the                                 nose,around her temple.
Applied blush from House of Tara Blush palette
                     Highlighted top of the Cheeks,Bridge of the nose,Temple,peak of the lips with Colour Pop Super shock Cheek in Poolside.


           
                                       EOS Lip Balm in strawberry
                                       Jordana Lip pencil in Cabaret to line the lips
                                       Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid lipstick in Bloodline to fill her lips
                                       Blend using a lip brush
                                      Set lips using black opal beautiful bronze foundation and a concealer                                                brush,apply powder to set the concealer



                               Set her face with Mehron Barrier Spray to get a perfect matte finish!
